In comparison with more expensive counterparts, there is not much difference, I compared it with a friend's model for $ 150, the difference is plus or minus 5 microns. With this thickness gauge, you can easily find not only putty, but also places of small touch-ups. On an uneven surface, it must be applied as perpendicular as possible so that there is no error. In the photo where the thickness is 250 microns, there is just a small tint, this is already the place where the transition was, the threshold was tinted from below, the device showed perfectly. In general, this little helper eliminated 5 cue balls.
