Universal flash with manual control, mounted on the hot shoe of many cameras. The power of the light pulse of the model is characterized by a guide number of 60. The light diffusion angle can be adjusted for focal lengths from 20 to 200 mm. The pulse duration is from 1/200 s to 1/20000 s. Photographers have access to 8 main power levels from 1/1 to 1/128 s. The recharge time between pulses does not exceed 1.5 s.

The Yongnuo YN730 can operate as a master flash — there are 6 groups and 16 channels available for controlling slave flash units. The remote control range reaches up to 100 m (via radio channel at 2.4 GHz). The flash head can rotate 180° left and right, 90° upwards, and 7° downwards. Operating parameters are adjusted using buttons, and a monochrome display is used for visualizing the selected settings. The energy core of the model is a rechargeable LB-E1 battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh — a full charge is enough for an average of 600 full-power flashes. A USB type C port is available on the flash for firmware updates.
