UPS for router and more
The XO brand external battery is designed as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for routers. In this scenario, two DC connectors are used - input and output - supporting voltage up to 12 V and power of 24 W and 18 W, respectively. The kit includes three adapters with different sizes (5.5x2.5, 5.5x2.1 and 4.0x1.7 mm), which allows you to connect almost any network equipment to it, including routers, switches and even video cameras with non-standard connectors.
The XO PR216 supports pass-through charging, meaning that when power is available, it simply passes the current directly. Additionally, there is a 5W USB A output that can be used to charge smartphones and other devices, although the charging speed will be slow.
Stylish and durable
The device is based on a 10,000 mAh lithium-polymer battery, from which connected gadgets will receive up to 6,000 mAh. This is enough to fully charge a modern smartphone. The body is made of aluminum, which makes it more durable than plastic counterparts, while maintaining a low weight of 293 grams.
The main drawback is the lack of USB Type-C, which would make the device even more versatile. However, the XO PR216 remains an attractive solution for powering routers and other devices that do not require fast charging.
