Xiaomi style design: simple and stylish

Xiaomi always finds bold and at the same time stylish design solutions. The column is made in a polymer case with glass inserts and is equipped with a backlight of 84 LEDs that shine in 5 modes. The lower part of the case has rubberized feet, so that stability is ensured.

Unlike many competitors, the column is nothing like a barrel or rugby ball. It is more like a vertically standing lantern or a night light. Touch control buttons are located at the top of the case, and functional connectors at the bottom. The model is produced only in black and white colours.

Maximum comfort

The column can be safely used on the street thanks to the IPX6 water protection standard. It will easily survive a light rain or strong humidity, but it is better not to drop it into the water.

Inside, there are two 8-watt speakers and a 20-watt woofer operating in the range of 60 Hz — 20 kHz. The sound is not loud, only 20 watts, but it is pleasant, legible and clear, with good bass depth and bright highs. An interesting feature is the volume control with a swipe. Since the emphasis in the model is on the backlight, the column does not indulge in a variety of functions. There is AUX, USB charging, speakerphone and, of course, Bluetooth. The battery is quite capacious 5200 mAh, but half the charge goes to the backlight, so that only 5-6 hours are left for music playback at medium volume. Fortunately, the backlight can be turned off.
