Xiaomi RedmiBook Pro 15 [i5 11300H 16GB/512GB/Iris X]

The pro version of RedmiBook from Xiaomi's daughter is an aluminium beauty with a high-resolution screen and balanced onboard armament. The laptop will fit for work and study, consumption of multimedia content, simple work with graphics and even games (albeit not at maximum graphics settings).

High resolution IPS screen

The model was equipped with a Super Retina IPS screen (hello Apple) with a standard diagonal size of 15.6", a resolution of 3200x2000 pixels and an increased refresh rate of 90 Hz. Increased hertz gives high smoothness in games and during everyday use of the laptop. The claimed colour gamut of the display completely covers the "triangle" of the sRGB space, in fact it may turn out to be a couple of percent smaller.

"Iron" components

The laptop is powered by a quad-core processor of the Tiger Lake generation — Core i5-11300H. "RAM" with a capacity of 16 GB is soldered on the board, the graphics are built into the processor (Intel Xe Graphics G7). To store user data, a fast and responsive 512 GB NVMe SSD is provided, the speed of which is enough for the system and everything else.

Typing on RedmiBook Pro is quite pleasant — the keyboard of the laptop is responsive and backlit with two modes of operation. She lacks perhaps an additional Num-block. The laptop's power button houses a fingerprint scanner to unlock the computer with a fingerprint. Also, from the innovations of the model, the long-awaited webcam was “delivered” (the predecessor did not have it) and they threw in a high-speed Thunderbolt 4 interface. By the way, it is through it that energy is supplied from a 100-watt charger to the cells of a powerful battery with a capacity of 70 W * h. It takes about an hour and a half to fully charge the battery.
