The TV is not bad, but for the money I paid for it (43"), I could already buy a 50". Android, which allows installing some apps. There's Bluetooth, which is convenient. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the TV's performance. It sometimes lags and freezes inexplicably, especially considering its powerful specs. It seems like the firmware is flawed. On the remote, instead of four useless Amazon app buttons and others like it, there is no basic exit button. |

Good "stuffing" + Google TV
The 2024 debutant in the Xiaomi lineup is a relatively inexpensive TV that stands out with a thin metal frame around the 55-inch screen. The hardware component includes a 4-core A55 processor with a Mali G52 graphics engine, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which is quite enough to download various applications. The choice of applications for Xiaomi Mi TV A Pro 55 is really extensive thanks to the Google TV operating system.
Key features of this OS include a fast and intuitive interface, flexible personalization, and Chromecast support for easy syncing with Android devices. Also included is a Bluetooth remote with a microphone for voice control and quick access buttons for YouTube, Netflix, and other streaming services.
Decent picture and sound
The TV is equipped with a matrix with a frequency of 60 Hz and a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. It supports modern HDR content standards - Dolby Vision and HDR10, although you should not expect a full wow effect when playing these formats due to the moderate peak brightness. However, a wide color gamut (90% coverage of the DCI-P3 space is declared) and high realism of color rendering "out of the box" are clear advantages.
The sound quality is also good: the model has a 2-channel system with a power of 24 W, which is slightly more than is usually found in similar models (20 W). At low and medium volumes, the sound is clear and without distortion. Volume and bright acoustic effects are provided by technologies such as DTS Virtual: X and Dolby Audio. Although the built-in speakers will not replace a full-fledged soundbar, they still leave a positive impression for their price category.
Xiaomi Mi TV A Pro 55 is a TV with decent picture and sound, offering a nice price.
