Xiaomi Mi Smart Scale is a relatively inexpensive smart scale for family use. And the most interesting thing in them is hidden, of course, in the word "smart".

Let it be just scales, but they are made in the corporate style of Xiaomi — an attractive case made of plastic and glass, smooth lines, a recognizable company logo, a nice LED display that has a built-in backlight. At the same time, the brightness of the backlight is automatically adjusted depending on the ambient light.

The “smart” component lies in the proprietary Mi Fit application, which automatically saves the results of each weighing, keeps a diary of changes, draws visual graphs, and also reports on progress. The ability to create multiple user profiles has been implemented, and the device independently determines the user by the difference in weight and saves the results on the corresponding phone.

It can also determine the body mass index, which, however, calculates according to a simple formula, and therefore its accuracy remains in doubt. But the function of determining the percentage of tissues in the body, which is quite popular today, has not been implemented at all.
