Model overview based on user reviews
The Xiaomi Mi AIoT Router AC2350 has received mixed reviews from users. While some appreciate its low price and easy setup, others have experienced significant issues with its performance. Many users report poor coverage and a weak signal, even in small apartments, which contradicts the router's advertised capabilities. The router's automation and limited access to settings have also been points of frustration for some. Despite its potential, the router seems to fall short in delivering the expected signal strength and coverage, leading some users to consider alternative options.

Not a single trash
I bought a router with the hope of high coverage, As a result, I got very poor coverage and cuts speed very much even behind one wall, 7 useless antennas, shitty mi WiFi app, very few settings, I had to take xiomi ax5 -6
I do not recommend in a multi-room apartment, a weak signal.

I took it to replace an old ASUS in a two-room apartment because of a weak signal, this signal was not more powerful. Passed on the same day. I do not recommend.
No
Everything is very much covered by automation. No access to parameters, even through service programs.

Off the beaten track

The guys at Xiaomi like to get confused when it comes to seemingly banal devices like routers. A year ago, an extremely curious Mi Router HD with a built-in hard drive and a tank-like design came to our tests. This time, the AIoT Router AC2350 fell into our hands, the main feature of which is integration into a smart home and an excellent starting speed.

"Smart" antenna for quick connection of other equipment

From the photos you can see that instead of the standard 4 – 6 antennas, the AC2350 has already 7 of them. At the same time, there is an additional "smart" antenna hidden inside the case. Using the MiHome app, it automatically finds and integrates new connected devices into the home ecosystem, such as smart speakers, TVs, or a robot vacuum cleaner. For all this goodness to work, the router uses a bunch of Qualcomm 4-core processors and a 2-core IPQ8071A network chip, which offloads the main processor, allowing it to focus on high-level tasks.

The only downside is that the smart antenna is tied to a proprietary application from Xiaomi and is only friends with the gadgets of this company.

The most affordable 2183 Mbps router

Well, the plus is that even without a smart antenna for its $ 40 – 50 AIoT Router AC2350 is a very advanced router with very high quality signal coverage, high speed (1733 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 450 Mbps when connected to 2.4 GHz), the ability to connect up to 128 clients, support for useful things like MU-MIMO and Beamforming, as well as a simple setup system using a mobile application. You will have to try very hard to find a model with a bandwidth of 2183 Mbps cheaper than Xiaomi offers.
