Video reviews

XGIMI MoGo Pro is a great example of how modern projectors should be made. This is a high-quality, functional and stylish portable projector that weighs a little less than a kilogram and fits easily even in a bag or backpack.

A metal cylinder with a perforated casing looks stylish, strict and minimalistic at the same time. Johnny Ive would have loved it.

And thanks to its elongated shape, the XGIMI MoGo Pro can easily be confused with smart speakers from Bose. However, the similarities don't end with looks. Connect the projector to a sound source and you get not the most powerful, but very interesting smart speaker with voice control and 6-watt speakers from Harman-Kardon. I also liked that the projector turned out to be quite miniature.

Functionality is exactly what you expect from a modern projector. With Android TV, the XGIMI MoGo Pro projector can be used as a smart TV. It can also be used as a power bank to recharge dead gadgets. The only negative is that the built-in 10400 mAh battery provides up to 2.5 hours of battery life. By the standards of portable projectors, this is not so much. There is definitely not enough time for a conditional Snydercut. But the connection is in order: the built-in receivers work with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth of the fifth generation, and the projector itself is friends with Chromecast technology. For everything else, there's HDMI, USB, and a mini-jack.

Now about the most important thing. The XGIMI MoGo Pro matrix is made on the basis of DLP technology, the resolution is Full HD, the maximum brightness of the lamp is 300 lumens, which is not so much. The projector supports autofocus and key point correction, so the picture is smooth and clear even when the projector is installed at an angle. The built-in auto-corrector, Time of Flight laser and a threaded stand, thanks to which the projector can be mounted on a tripod and adjusted to the situation, will help to fine-tune the picture even more accurately.
