i bought a dehumidifier, and on the first check, I turned it on and the fan was making noise. I thought it was normal, but it turned out not only should the fan be running, but also the compressor (like in a fridge), but the compressor was dead. I had to send it for repair without even using it, but the repair wasn't simple. I called three days later to ask about it—they said they replaced the compressor and would send it back the next day. I thought it would work properly, but it didn't. After picking it up from the post office and turning it on, I noticed that the fan stopped working, but this time the compressor worked. Because of this, it got very hot, and the humidity and surrounding temperature sensors were inaccurate, showing that humidity dropped to 30% and room temperature reached 38°C in about 5 minutes. It shuts down because it's overheating. It doesn't collect any water, so avoid this brand. The service center said they have many of these for repairs.
