A perfectly normal 2500-watt oil heater
30 October 2016
This kind of Polish oil cooler appeared in our house at the suggestion of my wife. I bought it in September, when it was pretty cool outside, and the temperature in the apartments also dropped sharply. Well, while I was on a business trip, she decided to deal with the issue of autumn heating. To be honest, I have never heard of such a trademark, but I doubt very much the European origin of this household appliance. It's all about the price. It is pleasant, no doubt, but it is hard to believe that such a price can be really European assembly.
A classic low-cost oil heater with a decent, 2500-watt power. It looks so standard that stick any other trademark on it, I would also believe it. The appearance is very simple: a dual power level switch, a thermostat knob and a device for winding the power cord at the bottom of the front panel. At first glance, complete minimalism and nothing more. The sections are thin, but there are already eleven of them, so they dissipate two and a half kilowatts of heat without overheating. The thermostat works clearly and precisely. There is protection against overheating and freezing. In principle, the heater copes well with its tasks, and if we recall its low price, then it is generally excellent.
In our case, the power of 2.5 kW turned out to be excessive. The largest room in the apartment is only 16.5 square meters, so the heater normally operates at a power of 1500 W, and we almost never use the maximum.
