The Vitek toaster is inexpensive, but quite functional. It has two compartments for two slices of bread and 6 degrees of toasting for every taste. The power is small — 750 W, it takes about 4 minutes to cook toast at maximum mode. However at first the device does not warm up enough, so the first batch may have to be fried a second time, and this is a few more minutes. The same goes for black and grey, that is, harder bread. But, in general, the toasts are evenly fried, not overdried, with a delicious golden crust.

In addition to the degrees of roasting, Vitek VT 1582 W offers a defrost mode for those who store bread in the refrigerator, and heating for ready-made, but cooled toasts. There is a cancel button if you suddenly changed your mind about eating or something went wrong, and a high rise for small pieces.

The body of the device is made of plastic, which does not heat up during operation. But there are also metal inserts on top and in the part where the control buttons are located. And now they just get very hot, so you can accidentally burn yourself. But the device cools down quite quickly — only 10 minutes, and the toaster can be put back into the cabinet (if it is stored there). Since the body is plastic, a characteristic smell is possible at first, so the manufacturer advises to warm up the toaster without bread. The smell disappears very quickly and does not affect the taste of the bread in any way.

For added convenience, there are rubber feet for stability, cord storage and a crumb tray. The latter opens, but does not detach completely, which is not very convenient, after cleaning there are a few crumbs inside, but they do not fall on the table. As for the cord, it is not too long, but this is typical for most of these devices. Therefore, it is better to choose a place near the outlet or use an extension cord.

By the way, the Vitek VT 1582 BK model is also available in black, but it is less functional.
