The German company Varta has made a name for itself in the production of automotive batteries and batteries of the most motley kind. Traditionally, AA and AAA batteries are the most popular among the public, for which you can use the Varta LCD Smart Charger to charge them.

Information screen

The charging station is equipped with four slots for "finger" and "little" batteries. Each of them has its own information screen, which displays data on the time spent on charging, battery capacity in mAh and the current status of the process. The device eliminates ordinary batteries at the initial stage, as well as batteries that are unsuitable for further use. At the same time, the inscription “Err” is displayed on an improvised scoreboard.

Additional functionality

In addition to actually charging batteries, Varta LCD Smart Charger is responsible for checking the remaining capacity of batteries, their preliminary discharge and capacity recovery. The last process takes the longest. For example, for 2100 mAh batteries, which are supplied with the charger, it takes about a day. But at the output, the user receives a battery, if not the original, then at least a capacity very close to this value.

Pleasant trifles

Switching between the operating modes of the device is performed sequentially by pressing the "Mode" key. The company on the front panel of the device is the "Display" button. Also on board the device has a USB port, which serves to charge mobile gadgets. It would seem a trifle, but pleasant. But the instructions for the "charger" are very meager. However, you can understand the principles of operation of the device without it, since they are understandable on an intuitive level.
