"Elite" tool box

The box Ultra 7402382 is made of high-quality and sufficient thick polypropylene — a material that holds the load well, withstands shocks well, is not afraid of frost and heating in the sun. This case has a solid construction with a lot of reinforcements and stiffening ribs (even the bottom corners are covered with additional pads to protect against impacts). Therefore, its weight turned out to be quite large — as much as 5 kg in an empty state. But the design features of this box allow it to withstand heavy loads. It can be loaded with up to 30 kg of tools or other cargo. On top of the lid is a recessed handle. It is made of aluminium, covered with rubber and has a large length necessary to lift a filled trunk with two hands. The lid is hinged with steel axles. The drawer is locked with aluminium alloy locks. They are spring-loaded (when the lid is closed, the locks slam shut themselves). Holes for a padlock are provided on the cover and body.

Even organizers are not as simple as they seem

On top of the lid are two quick-release organizers. They are made in the form of mini-cases with 10 cells in each. The dividers in the organizers touch the lids. Thus, each cell is isolated from the rest, and if you shake the organizer or turn it over, then the small parts lying in different sections do not mix with each other. Under the drawer lid is a deep removable tray with 6 compartments, and below it is the main compartment, which is 600 mm long and 305 mm wide.

A box that has few equals

There are not so many competitors for this case. In addition to Ultra 7402342, which has slightly smaller dimensions, also worth mentioning are Keter Master Pro 26, Stanley 1-97-514 and TOPEX 79R129 — these are good tool boxes with organizers that have more or less similar internal volume and not too high price.
