For the computer, the power is more than enough. The bass starts from 50 Hz. Nice appearance. There is a bit of noise on the bass (like breathing sounds) from the ports at the back of the speakers. It lacks a 3.5mm mini-Jack output for headphones. The product is in the basic price category (economy), so there's a higher chance of receiving a defective item. |
However, I encountered a defect: 1) The left speaker sounded 30% quieter than the right. 2) At certain frequencies from 190 to 240 Hz and around 370 Hz one speaker noticeably rattled (most apparent in piano solos) – like vibration from the cabinet details, which becomes quieter when you squeeze the speaker with your hand. They were replaced with new speakers under warranty.
Conveniently connect to the TV: no visible wires, because the power comes from the TV's USB socket. They work well from a USB 2.0 socket or from a 5V 0.5A charger – this power supply is sufficient.
There are no protective grilles, which I'm used to. Not sure if this is good or bad. They probably look nicer without them.
