High efficiency and productivity
The affordable model of the Thermex TY-10A gas instantaneous water heater stands out for its thoughtful design, reliability and safety. The device received a traditional rectangular case with slightly rounded corners and a front panel with a stiffening rib that goes around the top of the control panel and makes it look like a pretty face. The casing with all internal contents weighs 8.5 kg, is easily mounted on the wall and connected to a Ø 110 mm chimney outlet. The water heater runs on natural gas and produces a maximum efficiency of 90%, providing a productivity of heated water supply (Δ t=25 °C) up to 10 L / min. This is enough for several people from different points of water intake to be able to use hot water at the same time. The reliable gas-water unit allows automatic soft start and mechanical adjustment of gas flow and water heating temperature, which can be monitored on the red LED display.
Two ignition options: from batteries and 230 V
The model is distinguished by low gas consumption, which is only 1.8 m3/h, which indicates the efficient operation of the reinforced copper heater-heat exchanger with a power of 20 kW. The built-in overheating thermostat does not allow water to heat up above 80 °C, which protects its tubes from intense scale formation. Upon reaching the maximum temperature value, the device automatically turns off, as well as in the absence of draft in the chimney. In addition, the device is equipped with a flame control system that turns off the gas supply when the burner goes out. A safety valve relieves excess water pressure, preventing the consequences of water hammer. The water heater is able to operate stably at a water pressure in the inlet pipe of 0.2 – 8 bar. Electronic ignition of the gas burner can be carried out both from 2 batteries and from a 230 V network thanks to the built-in AC to DC converter (3 V at the output).
