Instantaneous hot water heater
The Thermex City 3500 water heater, as its name implies, has a power of 3500 watts. Inside the compact housing is a copper heating element that is in direct contact with water. With a low flow (approximately 1 l/min), the appliance is able to heat water up to 60 °C, while with a medium flow (2 l/min), the temperature of the water will rise by approximately 25 °C. If you increase the flow to 5 l/min, the capacity of the water heater will not be enough to heat the water by more than 10 °C. It is important to note that these values are valid only if your mains voltage is stable at 230 V (as the voltage decreases, the heating rate will be slower). The case has a mechanical regulator that allows you to select heating modes by changing the power of the heating element: 1500, 2000 or 3500 W.
Features of installation and use of the "protochnik"
In the case of Thermex City 3500, which is an "open" type device, it is not recommended to connect it directly to a pressurized water supply. For proper connection, it is necessary to install a reduction gear (which is not included in the kit) or a valve to regulate the flow in front of it. The operation of the device is carried out as follows: first you need to open the valve so that cold water flows through the water heater, and then move the power regulator from the OFF position to one of the operating positions. Switching off is carried out in the reverse order. To prevent possible overheating, the appliance is equipped with an overheating protection that will prevent damage if the heating element works, but water does not flow through it. Unlike more powerful models from the same series (with a power of 5500 W and 6500 W), this heater can be connected directly to the socket. It comes with a power cable that has a standard type F plug. However, there are certain requirements: the mains must be grounded, and the line to which the device will be connected must be equipped with a 16 A circuit breaker and a reliable socket capable of withstanding such a current.

To assemble the Thermex City 3500 water heater, a tee is screwed into the lower part of the body, to which a tap and a shower head are connected (both components are included). Thanks to this, the appliance can be used to provide hot water both in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
