Out of the box they were very sharp - my fingers were cut both when using and when washing. At first it was scary to pick them up, but after two weeks of use (the shortest knife was used only for peeling vegetables and fruits, nothing more), the edge became slightly dull, it is noticeable even to the eye, and it is not so scary. They fit comfortably in the hand. It is a pity that the stand only comes with a set of five knives, but at least thanks for the covers. However, the handle could have been made of something other than plastic - in Adresto knives, which are cheaper, it is steel, and, judging by the reviews, the quality and sharpness are not inferior to these. In general, knives are like knives: a top brand with an inflated price, made in China. They fit comfortably in your hand. There are covers included. The handle is plastic, not steel.
