SUMAKE SS-1202

The Franco-Taiwanese brand Sumake, founded in 2000 and representing a wide range of pneumatic tools, pleased Ukrainian painting professionals with a new model of the SS-1202 pneumatic spray gun, fairly honest in terms of quality and functionality.

New level

The model is designed for applying acrylic, water-based and polyurethane varnishes and primers on any type of surface. Her case is quite reliable, but also heavy — 1.1 kg net. Here, for the sake of practicality and durability, the manufacturer did not skimp. The equipment is standard, although for such a price it could be richer: a 600 mL plastic tank, a key, a cleaning brush and a paint filter.

High Features

SS-1202 uses HVLP spray technology. The basic nozzle with a diameter of 1.4 mm and a reduced pressure in the air cap of 2 bar avoid the formation of drops and increase the efficiency of paint transfer to the surface. At the same time, the air consumption is relatively small and amounts to 187 L / min. The versatility of the atomizer is achieved by the possibility of additional configuration with nozzles of different diameters: 1.3, 1.5, 1.7, 1.9, 2.2 mm.

For comfortable work, the model is equipped with all the necessary adjustments: pressure level, torch shape and jet strength.

The quality of the spray gun is emphasized by the presence of the international ISO 9001 certificate, which is probably the reason for its cost, because, in our opinion, in the absence of a pressure gauge and a quick-release adapter, the price of the tool is somewhat overpriced compared to analogues of the same Intertool. Well, the weight could be less.

Otherwise, SUMAKE SS-1202 is a reliable, functional model and, of course, worthy of attention.
