Drainage pump with large capacity

The Sturm WP9775SW is a high performance pump that pumps up to 18 cubic metres of liquid per hour. Its body is made entirely of cast iron, so the device turned out to be very heavy (15.3 kg). Equipment of this weight cannot be called portable (despite the presence of a handle). Such a pump should be used as stationary equipment. It should be installed (or suspended from a cable) in wells, pits, rainwater tanks or shallow water bodies. He can live "in the pit" almost without getting out, since all the parts that come into contact with water are made of materials that are not afraid of corrosion.

Pumps almost everything and in almost any conditions

This pump can pump liquids with organic inclusions and clods of dirt up to 35 mm in size (larger particles will not fit through the holes on the bottom cover covering the steel impeller). At the entrance there is a chopper with durable stainless steel blades. They, like meat grinder knives, break up clods of dirt and grind any organic debris. The motor is well protected from water by a double seal. If a rag is wound around the chopper or impeller, the thermal relay will work, which will turn off the motor and prevent it from burning out. The design of the pump also provides protection against power surges and "dry running" (float switch).

Pump for sensitive issues

Due to the ability to pump not just dirty, but also very thick liquids, the Sturm WP9775SW pump is considered to be drainage and fecal. In rural areas and the private sector, it is often used to pump out effluents that contain human waste products. To connect it, you will need a hose (or fire hose) with an internal diameter of 2" (40 mm) and clamps of the appropriate size. When buying, it should be noted that the pump requires periodic maintenance (oil must be added to the chamber between the engine and the impeller in a timely manner as it is consumed).
