The SG9641 airbrush of the Sturm brand has repeatedly proved its reliability and performance in real operation, which, combined with a reasonable price, has earned the recognition of many private buyers.

Design features

The body and tank of the model are made of durable plastic. There are no complaints about the build quality. Relatively light weight (1.47 kg) and a comfortable rubberized handle make it easy and comfortable to use. The absence of an external compressor adds mobility.

Painting possibilities

The volume of the reservoir is 800 mL. A high spray rate of 700 mL/min is provided by a nozzle width of 2.8 mm and a power of 400 watts. Such performance is pleasing. The airbrush is equally good, both for internal, and external works. But he also has a considerable paint consumption, although it can be reduced using the intensity control located under the trigger.

The spray gun is designed for spraying paints and varnishes (LKM) with a viscosity of up to 35 DIN (the figure indicates the time in seconds for which the finished mixture is poured out of the DIN Cup 4 viscometer). The indicator is low, but in itself very relative, since solvents are usually added to the paint, bringing it to the desired consistency, according to the established proportions.

The nozzle has three spray modes: vertical, horizontal and circular. To whom it is convenient to drive by hand.

Thanks to the HVLP system, the spray gun consumes paintwork materials more rationally, and when applied smoothly, it does not leave streaks and streaks on surfaces. Given the low cost, simplicity and mobility, Sturm SG 9641 can be considered a good household spray gun for painting large areas.
