Comfortable accommodation

Already from the name of the tent of the Russian manufacturer STEK it becomes clear that it has the shape of a cube. This design provides almost the same height over the entire surface of the ceiling. And here it is 180 cm: a fisherman of average height will be able to stand at full height without bending over. A frame with thick (9 mm) arcs made of fiberglass reinforced with carbon should allow avoiding a decrease in wind resistance due to weak “streamlined”.

The internal dimensions of the floor are 180x180 cm, due to which the STEK Cube 2 three-layer is considered a double model. Inside you can place a couple of sun loungers, or even two folding beds. There is a side pocket for storing small items, and to improve air exchange, the only entrance is supplemented with an opening ventilation valve.

Winter option

The tent is intended for winter fishing. Its awning is made of dense, wear-resistant Oxford 300PU polyester fabric. Its three-layer structure is designed to protect against condensation and improve thermal insulation properties. At the bottom of the awning there is a fabric skirt of large width (over 30 cm), which will not let snow and wind inside.

For reliable fixation on ice, you will need screw-in (pegs for ice), but they are not included in the package and must be purchased separately. The same goes for the bottom, but it's not uncommon for ice fishing models to have no bottom.

Quick installation

An important feature of STEK Cube 2 is a quick installation system. To assemble, it is necessary to straighten the awning and sequentially pull five loops, which respectively straighten 4 side walls and the ceiling. Disassembly is carried out in reverse order. Due to such a system, the model takes up a lot of space in a complete case even when transported in a car boot (140x50x50 cm).
