Cordless chain saw with a cross-mounted commutator motor to reduce the overall length of the tool. The moderate chain speed (7 m/s) and the average bar length (300 mm) to some extent limit the possible scope of the Stanley FatMax SFMCCS630M1 saw. Therefore, it should be considered as a tool for chores such as ditching or seasonal tree pruning and other light to medium duty tasks.

The tool differs in high quality of assembly and excellent ergonomics. All handles are covered with rubberized pads. A spirit level is built into the body, which helps inexperienced users to keep the tool in the correct position during operation. The chain is lubricated automatically, you just need to make sure that there is oil in the tank. The installation of the bar and the adjustment of the chain tension are made without auxiliary tools. The saw comes with a battery (4 Ah). According to the manufacturer, when sawing a 100x100 mm wooden beam, this battery allows you to make 68 cuts on a single charge.
