Despite the brand name “Steel” familiar to our ears, the compressor with the KST-24 model index has a Chinese “breed” and, frankly, does not shine with build quality. But it is one of the most affordable entry tickets to the compressed air equipment arena.

Household format

The model belongs to the class of oil single-cylinder compressors for domestic purposes. Its services are addressed in case of need for periodic short-term use of compressed air. The compressor will cope with purging, pumping up car wheels, and will be able to ensure the operation of all kinds of pneumatic tools. For safety reasons, the direct drive of the compressor is "covered" by a plastic box.

Base performance

The compact air compression unit of the unit consists of a single cylinder. It produces 190 L / min. air aerosol with pressure up to 8 bar. The model provides for a 24-liter horizontal receiver, typical for such a basic performance, to which two wheels and a support are attached from below. The wheels most often have to be modified with their own hands, since the “native” latches do not hold them well in the grooves.

Easy application

The cheapness of the compressor is visible to the naked eye: burrs are often found on its metal components, and plastic parts are by no means the best workmanship. However, the Stal KST-24 handles with the assigned tasks of supplying compressed air properly. But only in the context of simple scenarios for domestic use.
