Good picture, interchangeable lenses, easy to operate, recording on a flash drive. A camera for thoughtful people who are not in a rush and use a tripod or other stabilization systems. Poor stabilization, there's no stabilization in the camera at all, it's all in the lens. When using camera lenses, shooting has to be entirely static, on a tripod, with no movement. 11 lux - even for an amateur camera - is practically blind, although according to tests, night shooting gets a "C" rating. |
Great sound, lightweight, interchangeable lenses. No tape transport mechanism — resulting in unlimited durability. A child's toy requiring very careful handling. Completely unsuitable for shooting in extreme conditions. During news coverage, the video flickers, so it only allows for slow panning. The camera is unbalanced, and the lens dips, requiring constant attention during shooting. The body is very flimsy, unreliable, and fragile. The lens connection with the camera is weak and unreliable, it wobbles. (Had to wrap it with tape to prevent dust from getting inside). The flash card compartment cover is not sealed, offering no protection against moisture and dust. The battery mount is "upside down," causing the large battery to sometimes detach due to shaking. The grip is inconvenient for both carrying and use. Very fragile flash mount. For this price, they could have included a built-in flash. Lack of a "normal" HDMI. The power adapter plug is in an awkward place (makes it difficult to turn on the camera). In general, for such a price, there are minimal manual settings. Control buttons are suited only for children's fingers and are not convenient for quick shooting. But the biggest drawback is the lack of a frame size switch from Full HD to DVD (though this is only relevant for me). I find the film quality switch redundant. Whoever buys such a camera isn't going to film at the lowest image quality. Overall, I gave the camera to the kids to practice shooting skills and wouldn't recommend buying such a camera. |
You can film ANYTHING with this camera! But still, I think it's more for staged shots than reporting. We're so used to full automation, and by that, I mean the zoom. In film cameras, it's usually not used. Shifting within the frame in movies is considered poor taste. I recommend this camera for amateur filmmakers, music video creators, and various advertisers who are currently hooked on Canon cameras. The camera is awesome! I've been shooting with it for a week. The monitor and optical viewfinder on the camera are excellent. I think that the LED/manual focus can be adjusted both on the monitor and in the viewfinder. The depth of field is just amazing - thanks to the large sensor. The optical stabilizer is excellent! Don't believe anyone who says it's not there. (Unless they're dealing with a terrible hangover) I can prove it!!! The camera feels comfortable in the hands. (1) In my opinion, the zoom is a bit stiff, but you can get used to it—just hold the camera firmly. (2) It's not a real focus, more like pseudo-focus. (3) The bayonet mount construction is a bit weak. It's metal on the lens but screwed into plastic, and on the camera, it's plastic. So, you need to be careful with heavy lenses. (4) I haven't found progressive features in it yet. (5) The included battery is weak. You need to buy a stronger one. |

Additional features camcorder Sony NEX-VG10E:
- SEL-18200 lens (E-mount) included. Ability to change lenses compatible with E-Mount and A-Mount
- Progressive recording mode
- hot shoe for connecting a flash compatible with the Sony/Minolta system
- Stereo microphone array with 4 omnidirectional capsules

Interchangeable optics are also a huge disadvantage because dealing with dust at home is very difficult, so it's best not to switch lenses often, especially when working in dusty (outdoor) conditions. For an amateur, it's good but a bit expensive.
