Table of differences between Sony Ericsson Z750i and Z610i phones:
Short description:
The Sony Ericsson Z610i looks good in any version - black, pink blue-blue, etc. But, of course, it is more suitable for women. Hardly any man, except for the overly progressive ones, would guess to appear `in the light` with a pink glossy phone. No matter how beautiful he looks.
Technical features:

The Sony Ericsson Z610i looks good in any version - black, pink blue-blue, etc. But, of course, it is more suitable for women. Hardly any man, except for the overly progressive ones, would guess to appear `in the light` with a pink glossy phone. No matter how beautiful he looks.
Technical features:
- The body of the phone is made of glossy, polished plastic. In general, Sony Ericsson did not let us down - the phone looks expensive and stylish. The only gripe is that the phone is quite easily soiled in any colour version of the case and easily scratched. Therefore, if you want to keep it safe and sound for a long time, it is better to use a case.
- There are several keys, connectors and slots on the body of the phone - volume keys, a slot for M2 cards, etc. The music playback key deserves the most attention. With its help, you can to some extent control the phone's player even when the case is closed.
- The Z610i's keyboard looks quite comfortable - wide keys with large gaps, but they have a very stiff stroke and this somewhat spoils the impression. However, the joystick and soft keys fully correspond to the phone's price, you can even assign different functions to different positions of the joystick. The phone on/off button is located right there, below the number keys.
- The phone has two displays. The main, internal TFT with a resolution of 176x220 pixels and an external OLED. The quality of the colour display and the brightness of the main display are quite acceptable, but bright light should still be avoided.
- The external OLED display is very nicely done. Thanks to the special coating of the body, it is completely invisible when inactive. During operation (eg during a call), it seems that the letters and icons show through on the case itself. Unfortunately, in bright light, the information from the external display is virtually unreadable. External OLED cannot be configured.
- Sony Ericsson Z610i supports not only 2G standards (GSM 900/1800/1900), but also UMTS 2100, which is completely unnecessary for most users. There is even a special camera for 3G communication, which will be discussed a little later.
- The Z610i has two cameras. The main one supports a resolution of up to 2 (strictly speaking 1.92) megapixels, the maximum resolution of images is up to 1600x1200 pixels. Camera focus is fixed, digital zoom is available only at resolutions no higher than VGA (640x480).
- In general, pictures come out great when taken outdoors with natural sunlight. Indoors, the pictures come out a little worse. Several shooting modes are available, including panoramic (several shots are 'stitched' into one), bursts of up to 4 shots, etc.
- Video shooting is possible only with a fixed resolution of 176x144 and does not deserve much attention, because, like in most phones, the quality leaves much to be desired.
- To edit pictures, there are PhotoDJ and VideoDJ programs that allow you to apply simple effects to existing video and photo content. In `troika` and MusicDJ, you can use it to create simple ringtones.
- Despite the fact that the Z610i does not belong to the popular and specially 'musical' Walkman series, Sony Ericsson has made sure that the user gets the maximum satisfaction from listening to melodies. The player allows you to create playlists according to various parameters, there is an equalizer with preset settings, you can create your own equalizer modes.
- The player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, M4A, WAV and WMA formats.
- If the phone's memory is not enough - and given the ultra-modest size, of course it is not enough, you can use the Memory Stick Micro from Sony.
- Unfortunately, despite the rather high price, the phone does not have a radio receiver.
- The Z610i supports the A2DP protocol, so through the Bluetooth port you can transfer full-fledged stereo music to the headset with quite decent sound quality.
