Opening up a new market sector for itself, Sho-Me decided to follow the beaten path of other companies, and as a continuation of the line of inexpensive radar detectors, they chose the discontinued Whistler PRO58 radar detector as the basis, updating the firmware in it and simplifying the appearance, so that the device was more affordable, while not having competitors in quality!
As a result, we got "another masterpiece" - inexpensive, everything is Spartan, but at the same time very high quality in work!
The model is very compact, lightweight, has the main operating ranges in which traffic police radars operate in Ukraine and a number of CIS countries.
For a quick warning to the driver, a contrast symbolic display adjustable in brightness, a loud sound notification with various signals is used.
The Sho-Me 520 radar provides visual and audible warnings for detecting radio signals in the X, Ultra-X, K, Ultra-K and Ka bands, as well as laser signals (laser speed metres) within a radius of 360 ° and VG-2 system signals ( devices that detect radar detectors).
The Sho-Me 520 radar detector has a built-in updated microprocessor from PIC MicroDevices, due to which the radar detector has modern false alarm filtering systems, so it has a clear advantage compared to similar models in this price group.
