There was a Tiguan petrol 1.4, now the Caravella diesel 2.0, all cars are turbo. I only use this oil. There is no carbon deposits, no plaque, the level from replacement to replacement is 10 tons. Km. I've been using Shell 5w40 since 2007. Before that, I used Castrol semi-synthetic and was quite happy with it. Then something strange started happening with the oil. First, the container changed, and so did the content; it became more transparent and thinner, plus it started burning off more. Then there was an advertisement for a super-duper oil from Gazprom, which was poured into the same container, but at least they started sealing it. With this super-duper development, I noticed significant oil consumption. When I learned that the producer was Mother Russia and saw the changes in appearance and content, I realized I should have switched as soon as I saw the new container. Unfortunately, several years had passed, and it just so happened that it was time for a complete engine disassembly and assessment of its condition... and it was disappointing. The piston oil control rings were stuck, despite the super-duper washing oil, Shell fuel refills, and engine flushes during oil changes... Soot deposits looked like they were from cheap mineral oils, rather than super-duper synthetics... P.S. Shell... GOODBYE I liked it when it was shell and not rashell... Oil like oil, normal mineral water use Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 4L more than year |
