From the press release:

The Sanyo PLV-Z2000 projector is built on 3LCD technology and uses a new generation of C2FINE matrices with a physical resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. Thanks to them and an improved iris, the projector achieves a contrast ratio of 15,000:1 (in Vivid mode). Having adopted the best features of the Z-series projectors, such as the auto-closing lens shutter, the new device significantly exceeds them in many ways: the zoom ratio in the wide-angle lens has increased to two, the optical shift angles have increased, and the noise level has dropped to a record 19 dB.
