From the press release:

Samsung has introduced a series of Crystal Design home theaters, which includes models HT-TKX715 (with floor acoustics) and HT-KX715 (with bookshelf acoustics).

The system includes a DVD player with Full HD 1080p video upscaling even from standard DVDs with 1080p Video Up-Scale and an HDMI-CEC output that allows you to control both your TV and home theater with a single remote control. It also provides many playback options, including DVD-Audio, CD, DivX, JPEG, MP3 and WMA files.

The concept design of the Crystal Design home theater series features a high-gloss black finish and streamlined contours. The touch control panel not only makes the cinema easy and intuitive to operate, but also emphasizes its stylish appearance. The main unit can be placed either horizontally or vertically.

The home theater speaker system provides an output power of 800 W, in addition, the cinema is automatically calibrated, saving the user from complex and often incomprehensible manipulations, and the Smart Volume function will always maintain a comfortable volume — for example, when switching TV channels with a volume level sometimes quite different. Another plus is a more powerful, rich sound in the lower frequencies due to special signal processing with the addition of additional harmonics.

The HT-TKX715 and HT-KX715 provide wireless connectivity for everything from MP3 players to cell phones and PCs via Bluetooth. USB Host Play provides fast, direct connection to other mobile devices, including flash drives and digital camcorders, for full multimedia compatibility.

To make the new models a true centre of home entertainment, both models have a Karaoke function. CD for 4000 songs and a microphone are supplied. As an added bonus, the system is ready to switch to a wireless surround speaker connection, eliminating the need to pull interfering wires through the room. What's more, by switching to 5.8 GHz, the sound quality is superior to that of 2.4 GHz; Eliminate potential interference from other devices operating on this frequency (such as microwave ovens and wireless LANs).

Good to know:

HDMI
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is an all-digital audio/video interface that combines video and audio signals into a single digital interface for communication between different digital video and audio devices. The advantage of the HDMI interface is the transmission of uncompressed digital video signal with a bandwidth of up to 5 GB per second.

Dolby Digital 5.1
Audio data representation format for multi-channel audio. It is designed for 6 independent channels of digital audio: stereo front left and right, centre dialogue and two stereo rear channels plus a dedicated low-frequency channel for the subwoofer. It is a standard for storing audio information on video DVD discs in 60 Hz systems (NTSC).

Digital Theater System (DTS)
DTS is an audio coding format characterized by a low "compression ratio", about three times less information is removed from the original signal than in Dolby Digital.
