Samsung household appliances are not as popular among our customers as European brands. However, the Korean company has products that deserve attention, such as the DW-50H4050 machine. It has a good set of features and some interesting features.
Antibacterial treatment of dishes
The machine has five programs: “Automatic”, “Intensive”, “Eco”, “Express” and “Pre-rinse”. The most economical programs are “Express” and “Eco”. Resource consumption, respectively, is 9.5 l and 0.9 kWh and 9 l and 0.81 kWh. Moreover, the first one also saves time - it lasts only an hour and is useful, for example, for washing cups and plates after drinking tea and cake. Each program can be supplemented with “Sanitation” or “Extra rinse”. The first option adds a 70°C wash cycle that removes germs and bacteria, while the second option increases the rinse time for a more thorough wash. Antibacterial treatment is especially important for families with small children.
Touch control
The Samsung sink differs from other models in its touch controls. How convenient it is is a subjective factor, but it’s definitely modern. Another useful, but not unique, option is adjusting the height of the upper basket. If you want to wash a large dish or pan, then they will probably fit into the machine after some simple manipulations with the basket. The machine can also be connected to hot water (up to 60°C). In this case, it will wash a little worse, but the cycle will be shorter by 15 minutes.
While there are the usual delay start and half load functions, Samsung does not have a light indication of the operating status (beam on the floor), like some models of a similar price. This is its disadvantage, because it is impossible to understand how long the process will last. It has a noticeable noise level (50 dB) - it is louder than expensive models.
