Sage presents a contact grill from the high price segment, which is distinguished by its versatility, high power (2400 W), thoughtful design and the presence of various technologies for more efficient cooking. The manufacturer calls the grill smart, primarily due to the presence of IQ technology. These are sensors located inside the plates that constantly monitor the heating temperature. If a drop in temperature is detected in some place (this occurs mainly due to contact with the product), the sensor compensates for it by increasing the heat flow in this area. As a result, the plates maintain a constant temperature and ensure uniform cooking. Another feature is the built-in temperature probe, which measures the temperature directly inside the product. It offers 5 settings depending on the...type of meat (beef, lamb, pork, chicken and fish), including the type of cooking (from steak rare to well done). The Sage BGR840 is equipped with two blades, one serrated and one smooth. On the first one you can fry meat and fish, on the second - eggs, pancakes, etc. The plates have a Quantanium non-stick coating, which allows you to cook using a minimum amount of oil, are easily removable and can be washed in the dishwasher. The plates can be used closed for double-sided frying or opened completely to create an enlarged work surface. The top plate automatically adjusts to the height of the food, and the bottom plate is tilted so that excess oil and fat drain into a special tray. In addition, the grill has a shutdown timer (up to 30 minutes), a thermostat for adjusting the temperature (from 160 to 230 degrees) and a display for easy control.
