The Ryobi RLT-1831H25F trimmer has a rare feature - it can work not only from batteries, but also from the mains (like a regular wired brushcutter). The hybrid power supply provides users with unique opportunities. When you need to mow a large area, you can, armed with an extension or cable reel, work non-stop. And then, when you need to maneuver between flower beds, beds and trees, turn off the interfering wire and put the battery in.

Almost everything is configurable

In addition to the ability to work in two power modes, exceptionally wide possibilities for setting up the instrument deserve attention. Firstly, you can adjust the angle of the front handle and change the length of the telescopic rod. Secondly, you can even change the width of the mowing strip (depending on the position of the knife that cuts the line, it is 25 or 30 cm). But the most interesting is the adjustable trimmer head. It can turn 90° to the right and tilt back and forth. Therefore, with this trimmer it is convenient to trim the edges of the lawn, as well as mow grass under low-hanging branches of shrubs or garden furniture, without rearranging it from place to place. The 2.5 Ah battery that comes with the trimmer is enough for about 30 minutes of operation (6 minutes longer than the same mower with a 2-amp battery can work from the battery). Judging by the reviews of the owners, the energy reserve is enough to mow 3-4 acres of lawn, which is regularly maintained. If this is not enough, you can buy an increased capacity battery (batteries up to 9 Ah are suitable for this trimmer).
