Rubetek RL-3103

The creator of his smart home eco-system, Rubetek, is producing various popular devices for it. These include the Wi-Fi lamp RL-3103, introduced in the summer of 2019.

Durable and adjustable

The smart bulb is connected to the E27 cartridge and, according to the manufacturer, is designed taking into account the specifics of the Russian power grids. Its power is 7 W, and the luminous flux is 540 – 600 lm. The claimed resource of the model is 25,000 hours, which corresponds to almost 3 years of non-stop operation.

Rubetek RL-3103 is capable of shining both in white and in any shade from the RGB palette. In addition, you can adjust the brightness, colour temperature for the white glow, set the on and off schedule, use various dynamic modes, including thematic ones: forest, romance, sun, etc. In them, the light bulb smoothly or abruptly changes brightness, colour and other parameters.

Smartphone or even voice control

To control Rubetek RL-3103, you need to connect it to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and install a proprietary Russian-language application. The process of synchronization and subsequent configuration is as intuitive and simple as possible, and for further operation there is support for the Yandex voice assistant — Alice.

The light bulb can also be integrated into the Apple HomeKit eco-system, which allows you to control your voice with Siri and/or combine the lighting system with other modern technology.

The disadvantages include the fact that the Rubetek application is not yet a benchmark in terms of stability: sometimes various failures occur, especially after a software update. Otherwise, Rubetek RL-3103 is an interesting, Russian-speaking user-oriented alternative to Xiaomi smart bulbs, including the Yeelight LED Light Bulb model.
