The model got a layout for 104 main keys and 12 additional keys, with which you can get quick access to the functions of the operating system. There is also a 24-position adjustment wheel, with each position of the wheel adjustable to the user's preference. Additionally, there are 5 macro control keys, there is a function for recording macros on the go and the ability to programme buttons.

The Roccat Horde AIMO is controlled by an integrated ARM Cortex-M0+ 50 MHz microcontroller. Despite the status of a professional device, membrane keys are used. But at the same time, the membrane is reinforced with holes for the key stem, thanks to which it was possible to stabilize the operation of the buttons and they do not stagger around, as is the case in low-cost membrane keyboards.

Also, the operation of the keys is accompanied by a noticeable tactile response, as in full-fledged mechanical buttons. The polling frequency is at around 1000 Hz. The case has an indication panel, and in the upper right corner of the case there is a lock for installing a stand for a tablet or smartphone. The stand is purchased separately, or it can be printed on a 3D printer. PC connection is wired (cable length 1.8 m).
