Lightweight and with a Removable Battery

The Riley brand e-scooter represents the mid-price segment and is positioned as a model for adventures. The aluminum frame and compact dimensions (106x42x117 cm) make the vehicle relatively lightweight — 15 kg. Moreover, it is suitable for riders of greater weight — up to 120 kg.

The advantages of the Riley RS2 certainly include the battery. It is quite capacious — 12.8 Ah and provides a range of up to 45 km. Additionally, it is located on the handlebar stem and can be easily removed (claimed to be extracted in 20 seconds). This feature offers two immediate benefits — for charging indoors, you only need to bring the battery and not the entire scooter, and by purchasing a spare battery, you can double the autonomy. By the way, the full charging cycle is not too lengthy — up to 5 hours.

Foldable and Practical

For easy storage, carrying by hand, or transportation in a car trunk, the model is equipped with a folding design. The running part features two 10-inch inflatable wheels with a rear disc brake and a front electronic brake. The latter is an E-ABS system, which among other things charges the battery (regenerative function). The downside of the model is the lack of suspension, so it's best to stick to smooth roads and avoid bumps.

The scooter is powered by a 350-watt electric motor, offering balanced dynamics (up to 25 km/h) and the ability to climb hills with a 15° incline. The small display on the handlebar allows you to select the mode, activate cruise control, control the front headlight, and monitor battery charge.

The Riley RS2 is an e-scooter for urban use, capable of offering not only a good range but also an easily removable battery.
