Remington's styler is designed primarily for straightening hair, although it can also be used to curl hair. It belongs to the Botanicals series, the main feature of which is the use of natural oils in the devices. Ceramic plates are enriched with plant extracts: aloe vera, jojoba and rose. They make hair more beautiful, smooth and shiny. The plates themselves have a floating design, which prevents excessive pressure, over-drying and injury to the strands.

In addition, the plates are quite long (110 mm), so they are able to capture wider strands at a time and work with hair of any length. Also, for gentle effects, Remington Botanicals S5860 uses the ionization function: negatively charged ions remove static electricity, add shine and silkiness to hair. There are as many as 10 temperature modes to choose from from 150 °C to 230 °C, which allow you to select the optimal heating for different hair types.

Separately, the manufacturer highlights the BotaniCare mode - a temperature setting of 185 °C, which is optimal for effective but safe straightening. The selected settings are shown on a small display. In this case, each time the system remembers the selected temperature and sets it the next time it is turned on. In addition, users will appreciate the ability to lock the plates in the closed position for easy storage and transport, the included carrying case, instant heat (the straightener is ready to use in just 15 seconds after switching on) and a long 3-meter cord with a rotating base.
