Model overview based on user reviews
The REAL-EL RM-520 is a wired gaming mouse that offers a comfortable grip, though some users find it a bit heavy and large. It features a red-orange-blue lighting system linked to DPI adjustments, which can be turned off with a button combination. The mouse has a braided cord with an interference filter for durability, and the wheel includes rubber inserts for smooth scrolling and clicking. However, some users report that the thumb struggles to reach the "forward" button, and there are concerns about poor build quality and warranty issues. The sensor performance is criticized for being unreliable during sharp movements, and the mouse tends to leave fingerprints. While it is suitable for basic tasks like internet browsing and document editing, it is not recommended for gaming or graphic design. Overall, the REAL-EL RM-520 is considered a budget-friendly option, but users suggest saving for a higher-quality alternative.
Pros
Cons
Interesting mouse. A bit heavy and large, it creates a pleasant feeling in the hand. However, after some time, you might not know where to place your pinky finger. You can also rest it on the right button. No problem. The lighting is red-orange-blue, tied to the resolution adjustment. It turns off by simultaneously pressing the dpi button and the "back" navigation button. The cord has braiding and an interference filter. It might last longer. The wheel has rubber inserts. Scrolling and clicking aren't stiff, they feel normal. Click as well. Overall, a pleasant impression. The only thing I didn't like is that the thumb hardly reaches the "forward" navigation button. just bought REAL-EL RM-520 i recommend it should buy |
They gave it as a spare for a birthday, it worked for half a year of inactive use, the LMB stopped working, then the video itself, then the left button of the bear. Sent it back for warranty and hope they exchange it for something else. Thanks to this bear, I realized that I do not like the backlight in devices. Good design, comfortable enough. Cheap. Poor quality. Warranty issues. |
I wouldn't recommend purchasing anything in this price range at all. It's better to save up a bit more than to suffer throughout its use. At most, it's suitable for Word or Excel. It can handle internet browsing too, but that's about it. Photoshop and games are not its forte. Fits more or less nicely in the hand, the cable sheath hasn't worn out after 3 years. It leaves fingerprints, very inconvenient to use when your hand is even slightly wet, the backlight and DPI switch are on the same button, and the sensor is soooo poor that it starts acting on its own with even minimally sharp movements. use REAL-EL RM-520 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
