I’m sharing my opinion about the Bear PLO 17 kW floor-standing gas boiler I bought a year ago. I wanted to buy a simple and reliable boiler, with a minimum of electronics and other fancy bells and whistles. Bear PLO is electrically independent, boiler with piezo ignition. For its normal operation, you only need gas and nothing more. I have an imported one, because... there is no highway. The heat exchanger is made of cast iron; if used properly, it is an almost eternal material; I myself have seen a cast iron boiler made in 1949 that is still working, I know what I’m talking about. The heating issue was solved by PLO Bear, the radiators are hot even in severe frosts. I have been the satisfied owner of this boiler for more than a year, during all this time the Bear has not caused any problems, the main thing is to make sure that the gas does not run out - and everything will be great.
