Lightweight (30 g) laser rangefinder in a compact body (100x32x12 mm) with good dust and moisture protection (IP54 class). The device is equipped with a monochrome display (light numbers on a dark background) with good backlighting, providing visibility under different lighting conditions. The Protester JQ40 laser rangefinder is suitable for measuring distances in the range from 5 cm to 40 m. The measurement error does not exceed 2 mm. The device can add, subtract and multiply the received results, determine the maximum and minimum value among them, as well as carry out continuous measurements (tracking). The power source is a built-in Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 0.2 Ah, which provides approximately 2000 measurements per charge. The battery is charged via a microUSB connector.
