Feed Features

The feed of the Canadian manufacturer is intended for kittens 2 – 12 months old. It is nutritious and balanced, without a strong smell. The size of the granules is not large and not small, kittens chew easily and with pleasure. Many cat lovers note that the smell of feces from this food disappears and the coat becomes very prettier, however, on white colours it can turn a little red (apparently due to the content of beetroot extract in the composition).

Ingredients: beneficial ingredients

Sources of protein in the feed are chicken meal and dried egg. Vegetable protein and carbohydrates are represented by cereals: rice and round barley, and animal fats are chicken and salmon. The latter contains omega-3 and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), a very useful component that nourishes the brain and improves mental alertness. And vegetable fats, omega-3 and omega-6 acids, are whole flaxseed. There are 44 ingredients in total, including fibre (beet pulp), taurine for the heart, yeast as a source of vitamin B and immunity guard, Yucca Schidigera extract to improve the functioning of the digestive tract and reduce the smell of feces, various vitamin supplements.

Very good product, excellent value for money. However when choosing food, carefully read the English and Russian versions, there are some inconsistencies in the translation. In the presence of good indicators of animal protein and the absence of corn and soy that are not very useful for kittens, there are still too many sources of vegetable protein in the composition. Please note: in the Russian translation, the composition of the meat is 40%, in the English text there is no such data. But it is written about 30% proteins and 20% fats.
