Rigid metal construction

In the axial floor fan ProfiCare PC-VL 3064 MS from the German manufacturer of household appliances, you immediately pay attention to the quality of the almost completely metal construction. With the exception of 4 ergonomic blades Ø 40 cm and controls, all elements of the device are made of chrome-plated metal: electric motor housing, protective grille, adjustable rod, stand and disc support stand with weighting agent. This circumstance benefited the durability of the device, but was reflected in its large weight of 6.2 kg. Therefore, you will immediately feel the solid solidity of the unit during transportation from one room to another.

Reliable but expensive

Since the device does not provide a choice of special operating modes, all settings are reduced to a few simple operations related to adjusting the height and tilt of the fan head, enabling / disabling the auto rotation option, and setting one of 3 blade rotation speeds. Due to the limited functions, the model is completely devoid of the usual control panel, which is usually mounted on a rack. To accommodate a 4-position speed controller (plus the off position) and a rocking pressure control, there was enough space on the electric motor casing. By the way, the fan motor, which consumes 50 W, is quite quiet (thanks to the abundance of metal!) and will not disturb you with noise even during the hours of evening rest. The disadvantages of the model include the simplicity of its functionality, which does not correspond to the rather high price of the fan.
