Bladeless design
The practical German ProfiCare PC-HL 3086 fan heater has a bladeless design, which was first proposed in its models by British engineer James Dyson. Without going into technical details, we note that the absence of visible impeller blades makes the operation of the device safe, and the high air flow rate provides good ventilation and heating. Additional operational safety is provided by a built-in thermostat that automatically turns off the heater in case of overheating, as well as a safety limit switch that breaks the electrical circuit when it falls. A replaceable intake filter cleans the incoming air from dust, which is an additional plus of the model. The device turned out to be quite heavy (2.2 kg) and not the most compact (36x18x18 cm). This is a class 2 in 1 device that can be used for heating in the cold season and as a table fan in the hot summer.
Two fan modes
Built-in ceramic heater with 2-stage power adjustment (1000 W and 1500 W) allows you to heat a room of 15 m2. The heater can be controlled both from the electronic touch panel on the front surface of the case, and from the complete infrared remote control. Both control methods provide the same options. The instrument panel is equipped with 4 touch buttons with LED indicators and a small digital display. The On/Off/Mode button turns on the device, and also allows you to select the heating power mode and fan speed (2 levels). Using the Tem button (+ Up and - Down on the remote control) you can adjust the temperature of the thermostat within 15 – 40 °C. The Swing button starts the rotary mode, and the Timer sensor sets the shutdown delay in the range from 1 hour to 12 hours. The model is interesting, functional and affordable, especially in comparison with expensive Dyson patented technology.
