Inside the compact body of the Procraft PW1050 grinder is an 850 W motor, providing tool rotation speeds of up to 12,000 rpm. The start button is located on the left side of the body (under the right thumb). The air vents at the rear of the body, which supply air for cooling the electric motor, are covered with removable mesh filters to protect the tool from abrasive dust.
