I decided to switch from the wired (network) Foresta FT-11D to a cordless model because I was tired of constantly dealing with wires and extension cords. Plus, the price was attractive. I was also drawn to the fact that it has a quick-release split shaft and a 4Ah battery with a charger included. But after taking everything out of the box, my feelings were mixed. It took me 15 minutes to attach the shaft because I couldn't snap in the side spindle that holds the second part in place. Then I realized that the hole wasn't drilled to size and had to use force to snap it in. Before that, I checked the manual, but there was absolutely nothing written: no assembly instructions, no guidance on where and how to place parts. It's a useless description of what you bought and that's it. Just a paper translation. Then installing the blade that cuts excess line was also unclear on which side to place it, and again nothing in the instructions. Checked the gearbox — not a trace of grease, the factory skimped on that. The shoulder strap is totally awful, feels like it was taken off the cheapest Chinese bag. The strap on the Foresta was much better, with a good large soft shoulder pad. The included battery lasts for about 15-18 minutes, although 25-30 was claimed. For proper use, you definitely need to buy another battery, around 8Ah. Overall, the power is enough to cut even tall grass with tough stems. The cutting width is a decent 420mm, but only with the line. The included disc is of a smaller diameter. In the heat, it often goes into overheating protection. Battery design, battery and charger included. The instructions are not clear; not all parts fit together and are not made in the best way.  Vladimir I: use Procraft ATA20S less than month |
