A kid weighing about 1 kg is good as a device for working with office applications and various Internet services. It is not worth loading it with something more serious — a modest "iron" simply will not pull "heavy" games and applications. The Prestigio SmartBook 116C is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8350 processor, which operates at frequencies of 1.44-1.92 GHz and is part of the Cherry Trail platform.
With memory, things are as follows: operational — 2 GB (not expandable), flash memory — 32 GB, which is also sparse. But the 11.6-inch screen of the model displays a picture in FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels), besides, it is built on the basis of an IPS-matrix with wide viewing angles and natural colour reproduction. To output images to external displays, the model has a miniHDMI port among the interfaces, and peripherals are connected to the laptop via one of the tandem USB connectors (each on its side). The device is equipped with a microSD card reader and a VGA camera. The model is powered by a built-in 8000 mAh battery, the battery life level of which is estimated by the ability to work without recharging for 7-8 hours.
