Pleiad of functions

The car recorder makes video recording of the traffic situation through the windscreen, covers the rear, tracks the current location and determines the speed of movement using GPS satellites, and also warns of police ambushes with radars. Moreover, the device cannot be called a giant — the registrar turned out to be many times more compact than peers close in functionality.

Combo

Basically, the PlayMe Omega records videos in high resolution 2304x1296 pixels at 30 fps and with H.264 compression, which saves free space on the microSD card. The numbers of passing and oncoming cars remain readable with such data at distances over 20 m. The lens of the main camera looks around the world with a field of view angle of about 140 °, capturing the current lane of movement and one neighboring lane into the frame. The reversing camera shoots 720p video while assisting in reversing parking.

The head unit is equipped with a 3-inch screen and a push-button "command control panel". This is about the visible side of the issue. Hidden from prying eyes is a GPS module with an informer about exceeding the speed limit and the location of stationary surveillance cameras. The built-in radar detector handles with the detection of unfamiliar cameras and mobile traps very well.
