There are a lot of tourist equipment for sale now. Online stores are full of beautiful model names and vivid photographs. But a sleeping bag is a thing that is difficult to select remotely. I was lucky and I saw this model and a friend on the route. So I had the opportunity to inspect it and feel plenty of it inside and out. So I already knew what kind of sleeping bag I was buying. It seems to me that this is one of the best models for autumn-spring hiking routes, including in mountainous conditions. You can easily spend the night in it at temperatures up to +3 ... +5 degrees, and if you wear warm underwear, you can comfortably survive the frosts. It is designed for small growth, and this must be taken into account, but inside it is wide enough not to hinder the movement of the arms and legs. The insulation in it is synthetic, the same can be said about the outer skin and the fabric from which the lining is made. Interestingly, all three materials are very similar in chemical structure; they are based on polyester fibers. But on the outside it is a dense and tear-resistant fabric with waterproof impregnation, inside it is something like a soft breathable fleece, and the heat-insulating layer is generally a fine-fiber volumetric mass. There is a good hood, a comfortable inner pocket, a thermal collar and all the other goodies of modern technological sleeping bags. Well, the price is also pleased. Such a versatile and light sleeping bag (1.4 kg of weight) is cheaper to take than for 2000 UAH, this is good luck. New after unpacking had a strange chemical smell. I was even afraid that I would have to wash it specially. But nothing happened, a week hung on the balcony and weathered. |
