The radio clock, which debuted on sale in the summer of 2022, can be attributed to the initial price segment. They are made in a rather small (131x54x131 mm) black plastic case and complemented by a digital rectangular dial with green symbols. Push-button controls and a 200 mW mono speaker grille are placed on the upper edge. The Philips TAR-3205 clock radio is equipped with a digital radio receiver with the ability to store up to 10 stations in the frequency range from 87.5 to 108 MHz. For added convenience during evening listening, an automatic shutdown timer is provided with an interval of 15 minutes to 2 hours. In addition to the clock function (the current time is clearly visible on the screen), it is also possible to set two alarms, and also supports slow wake-up mode (with a gradual...increase in the volume of the radio station) and snooze signal (Snooze) with repeated operation after 9 minutes. The main operating scenario is mains operation, but backup power is also provided here (from a pair of AAA type elements), which means that the clock and alarm settings will not fail in the event of a short-term power outage.
