Individual shaving settings

Debuted in 2018, the Dutch brand Philips offers advanced settings to personalize the shave to the user's needs. The model implements the functionality of automatic bristle detection: a special BeardAdapt sensor analyzes the hairline and selects the appropriate motor operating mode.

Additionally, to help the owner of the Philips S7910, synchronization with a smartphone via Bluetooth is available. GroomTribe's proprietary app offers tips on how to use the device and how to shave in general, with the ability to create a personalized usage plan. Also, from a mobile phone, you can set the appropriate shaving mode from three options that differ in sensitivity.

Triple shaving head and trimmer

The rotary razor received three ContourDetect shaving heads that can move in different directions. Sharp steel blades cover smooth rings with a special coating that reduces friction. According to the manufacturer, in one pass, the device will be able to remove 3-day stubble, protecting the skin from irritation. Users of the lower models of the Series 7000 line with the same shaving system, for example Philips S7370, confirm this.

Instead of the characteristic retractable trimmer for modeling temples, mustaches and beards, the model is equipped with a special removable nozzle — SmartClick.

Water protection, battery life and other advantages

The Philips S7910 body is not afraid of water, which simplifies head cleaning and allows you to shave not only “dry”, but also with foam. It is convenient to store and transport the razor in a dense complete case.

The battery capacity is enough for 50 minutes of work, it takes 60 minutes to fully charge it, and 5 minutes for one shaving session. In addition, a special charge status indicator acts as a hint about the need to connect to the network.
